The Politics of Digital Culture conference series is intended to provide an informal, critical exchange between New School faculty from various disciplines, students, an international set of scholars, artists, activists, librarians, and the NYC community. These conferences are innovative in format and open to the public. In November 2009, the first event in the series was The Internet as Playground and Factory followed by Mobility Shifts: The International Future of Learning Summit and the book, Learning through Digital Media, in October of 2011.
